The things I thought were perfect, other people didn't even feel the same way.
Perfection is killing you.
How many times have you recorded a mix and then deleted it because you didn't think it was good enough? How many times have you finished a track but didn't put it out because one little thing didn't sound quite right?
The truth is, perfection isn't even real. I used to try and achieve perfection when I was making DJ mixes, when I was making music. But I realised one thing — the things I thought were perfect, other people didn't even feel the same way.
If you let go of the idea of perfection, it allows you to create more. It allows you to output more. And ultimately it allows you to achieve more.
