Your habits define who you become.
Everything you think you know about becoming a successful DJ is probably wrong. If you follow DJs online, you see the big moments — the record going number one, the festival headline. But it's not about those moments. It's your habits that define who you become.
Think about the gym. One session is going to do nothing. A few times maybe you get small results. But if you stop going, you lose all of it. If you make going to the gym a must, that's when you see lasting changes.
It's the same with making music or practising DJing. You make it a must. You make it a daily thing. And then you do it for fucking years. That's how people are making amazing music. That's how DJs are doing amazing shit. That's how you reach the top.
I literally make music every fucking day. I'm not the best at making music. I just do so much of it that I'm going to get something good eventually. And I'm going to get better through the process.
